The Coronavirus outbreak has forced a lot of changes in all of our lives. Dr. Santopietro and the entire EvenKeel Podiatry staff are committed to treating foot, ankle and lower extremity problems to keep our patients walking and running through this challenging time. As such, we are taking the following steps to help ensure the well-being of everyone in our community:
- We’re complying with Governor Baker’s stay at home order and have moved to using virtual telemedicine visits to see both new and returning patients on a normal schedule. Tues – Thur 8:30 am to 3:30pm.
- Only when absolutely necessary and on a limited basis will we see patients in the office.
- Only essential office staff are working in the office at this time – Dr. Santopietro and one assistant. Otherwise, all staff are working from home.
- We are screening all patients on the phone and are utilizing video to prepare all in-office visits.
- We are providing all in-office patients with masks and gloves and request that they keep their mask on for the duration of their visit.
- All office staff will also be wearing masks during all patient visits.
- Patient visits are spaced out significantly and all areas of the office are thoroughly disinfected and sanitized between patient visits.
For new patients: All initial office visits will be conducted online via Zoom or FaceTime. If you are interested in custom orthotics we will conduct a biomechanical exam using your mobile phone, tablet or laptop computer. You can choose to photograph your feet, or make a private appointment to be fit for custom orthotics.
For all existing patients: Please schedule an appointment for an online visit. After your evaluation: if you have orthotics in need of reconstruction or if you require an additional pairyou will be able to ship the orthotics directly to our office and we will update and return them to you within a few days.
