I am so happy that I went to see Dr. Santopietro about three years ago to find out whether new orthotics could be helpful in dealing with my ankle problem: limited mobility and pain. This problem had prevented me from walking comfortably without limping and without pain for any long period of time.
My primary care physician had recommended I see Dr. Santopietro, and the type of orthotic he makes and his ability to fit it well have made a huge difference for me. He uses a digital measuring device to design the orthotics and then draws on his experience to fit them to the person’s foot and shoe. I love the fact that he was formerly the Patriots’ podiatrist; I feel like he understands movement.
The orthotics he prescribed for athletic and walking shoes give me great stability and enable me to walk long distances (5-8 miles) without pain. I walk a lot and like to hike–-I thought I’d have to give these up—but because of the new orthotics I don’t. I have had him make orthotics for sandals and dress shoes—neither of which I never expected to be able to wear comfortably again, but now can.
He and his staff make the orthotics in the office and he schedules enough appointment time to check afterward to make sure they fit properly. He also has some samples of shoes and a list of shoe brands that work well with orthotics. I highly recommend Dr. Santopietro.

Dr. Santopietro’s skills honestly changed my youngest son’s life. His expertise made many physical things possible for Kyle that would not have been so otherwise, opportunities that have brought him a lot of happiness and confidence.
Over the years, Dr. Santopietro’s treatment has spared me from taking pills for pain and helped me avoid cortisone injections and even surgery!
