No more pain! I met Dr. Santopietro many years ago at Children’s Hospital when my daughter Kristina was complaining about her back and knees. He was very pleasant and put her at ease because he had a great sense of humor. After the initial consultation, we met him at his office where he has an in-house lab and while we waited, he made inserts for her skates and shoes. After the fitting and adjustments, he had her make a follow-up appointment which I thought was great to make sure everything fitted correctly.
I bought store bought orthopedics, as well as ordered ones from the Chiropractor and found out that while they work for a little while, it was not working for me. Even though I knew he was a great Dr., I was too busy to go back, but the orthotics that I had bought didn’t work and only when I started getting sharp shooting pains up my left leg and excruciating pain on my right foot, did I finally make the appointment. I dreaded going because I thought I would have to have surgery and didn’t know how to work that into my busy schedule chauffeuring my kids to and from school and my hectic work schedule. Even though I didn’t want to prolong this, I didn’t know what to do since I waited long enough. When I went for the consultation, I found him very pleasant and very knowledgeable. I explained to him my dilemma and he told me that I had one hip lower than the other. What a sigh of relief when he told me that he always use the conservative methods before resorting to surgery because there are so many tiny bones in the foot. I was relieved when all I had to do was purchase better fitting sneakers and had inserts put in. He gave me an option to buy sneakers from the store or to buy it at the office. Iit was worth it to me that he had different sizes in his office. I thought I didn’t have to make an additional trip to the store and then make another appointment. Also, when I thought I bought it from him, I thought I would also have to make another appointment, but he said that he would do it while I was there if I had the time. I thought this was great. It was like one stop shopping and I didn’t even have to make an additional appointment to be fitted. I only had to make a follow-up appointment for him to check the body alignment and the inserts once I broke them in. I am really appreciative because I didn’t have to have surgery, was no longer living with the pain and didn’t have to run to the store and waste time deciding on the color and style of the sneaker. The sneaker and style that he had in his office were a nice style and color and the inserts gave me more height. He also still has a great sense of humor. For all the reasons I mentioned above, I am giving him and his office a great review.
